The parrots or Psittacines is an order (in particular Psittaciformes) birds which includes approximately 353 species. They are usually grouped in two families: Cacatuidae (cockatoo), and Psittacidae (true parrots). All the members of the order have a curved form characteristic of beak. All the parrots are zygodactyl, with two toes in front of each foot and two at the bottom. Parrots can be found in the majority of the hot areas of the world, including India, of the Southeast Asia and Western Africa. The Caroline Parakeet, now extinct, inhabited in the United States. The largest number by far of species of parrot come from Autralasie, South America, and Central America.
